Dear Vivien and all her marvellous helpers

Dear Vivien and all her marvellous  helpers

I just wanted to say on behalf of the Rector and Vestry what a terrific day yesterday was.  The layout of the room was so much better and made it much easier to get around and view things and enabled the children and parents to not all queue in the cold.  All the crafts, cakes ect. made and sold, the Unicorn, the raffle, the Inner Wheel ladies and their excellence in the kitchen and all our other stall holders with lovely things to tempt us made the day such a success.  Thanks too to Gary and his helpers on the boat, the pipers, the Alpacas (just gorgeous), but above all the children and their parents who love this annual event and make it a highlight  of the year in Kirkcudbright.

Especial thanks must go to Vivien for putting it all together, and continuing this tradition and with all her hard work in organising the day. I’m sure Stephen will tell us later how much we made for our church, but the main thing is we enjoyed it!

With the best of good wishes

Gwen
